Game Type: Literacy, Study Break

Recommended Ages: 6+

Number Of Players: Four students at a time

Equipment Required: Nil

Where To Play: Indoors

Duration: 5-10 minutes

How To Play

Step One: Choose four students to stand up in front of the class.

Step Two: Give the students a prompt. For example: a setting, a character or a sentence starter such as ‘Once upon a time there lived a fierce giant’.

Step Three: The students then take turns to add a sentence to the story.

Step Four: Once your students have crafted a meaningful story, choose four new students to play.

Variations

Wordy Story Builder: Instead of each student adding one sentence, each student instead adds just two words.
